Monkey vs. Nutz....the Rematch

I have just received a late breaking news story from an anonymous local news director. It seems that the first round of the "tourney" will be dominated by the epic rematch between two of the cities finest!

The Sensational Crackmonkeys versus the Astounding Astronutz.

I am, sure it will be a spirited game between the two teams. If their first meeting was any indication, then this will be the game to watch on Sunday.

So ladies and gentleman, start your trash talking now.

Crackmonkey pre-game pep talk:

MC: What is best in life?

Crackmonkeys in unison: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women.

MC: That is good! That is good.

So fem-nutz prepare those lamentations, I prefer mine with a twist of lime and slightly chilled.

-Cheers

Once more into the breech dear Nutz, once more,
Or close the wall up with our Monkey dead,
In peace there’s nothing so becomes a man,
As modest, stillness, and humility,
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard – favour’d rage,
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect,
Let pry through the portage of the head,
Like the mighty blow of a Nutz bat!

Godspeed you Nutz, godspeed!

"Lay on, Macduff,
And damn'd be him that first cries, 'Hold, enough!'"

Speaking as a "fem-nutz" representative, I am not entirely certain I can express the shallowness of our care and concern for this game. Much like the last encounter, the Astronutz loyal could really give a rats ass. We just like to play.

I have to admit some confusion here. What gaping chasm in the space-time continuum has allowed such an event to occur even once? Did someone go through a time machine? Has Brundel made a visit to Chambana? Have Nutz and Monkeys finally been torn completely asunder to where two teams can be supported, at the same time, in the same league, with completely independent rosters? I might need to get one of those fancy shirts made up of two jerseys sewn together down the middle. I'm feeling very conflicted at the moment.
