Before the rant begins....

Thought I would had a new link to the link section. It's an old favorite of mine. Also I feel it is appropriate since the campaign silly season has begun, but I am sure it will have no effect on the discourse because logic and facts have no place in the arguments being pushed before the American people. Mainly because people are dumb, and facts are stubborn things. They don't like conform to our petty conceived notions. So have at it. It is actually a pretty informative site, and who doesn't enjoy whipping out the old, "I find your thesis laughable because you have fallen prey to the time honored 'Appeal to Ignorance' fallacy. I however, am not ignorant, so your gambit has failed."

The Fallacy Files

It would be swell if people actually knew what a logical argument sounded like. But in todays world the fact that you got a $400 haircut renders you incapable of speaking on the evils of poverty, or perhaps rantings of a preacher you know should be a reflection on your personal beliefs. These are not logical arguments at best they are just trivia or distractions.
